The developer of your website is able to develop plugins. This way he can add additional features to your website, specifically for you. The editor pages for these plugins then come available in the admin panel.

Some plugins are provided by USM and are therefor documented on this page. If your developer has created his own plugin, he should provide you with additional documentation if needed.
