Files
The files admin can be used to upload images or documents to use in your website.
Files overview
The files overview gives you a list of all files of your website. Learn more about overview tables.

The overview page shows the following things:
Button to upload a new file.
Information on your current files:
Category - the category of your file.
Name - the file name.
Access - the access level of your file.
File size - how large the file is.
Last accessed - the last time your file was accessed on your website. Accessing the file in the admin panel will not change this date.
Created at - when the file was first uploaded.

If you want to know more about a certain file, you open it's detail view. Below an example of what this view shows you:

Access - the access level of your file.
Category - the category of your file.
Name - the file name.
File size - how large the file is.
File Hash (md5) - technical value you can use to verify the exact document.
Last accessed - the last time your file was accessed on your website. Accessing the file in the admin panel will not change this date.
Created at - when the file was first uploaded.
Updated at - when the file was last changed.
File referencing information - the URL you need to copy-paste if you want to use the file somewhere.
If you want to use the file in your website.
If you want to use the file somewhere else on the internet.

Upload new or edit file
When uploading a new file, or editing an existing file, you use the following page:

File - the file itself.
Category - the category of your file. Useful for grouping your files.
Name - the file name.
When you are uploading a new file, you can leave this field empty to use the original file name.
Access level - which visitors should be able to download the file. Read more about access levels.
Buttons to either save the changes, or go back to discard your changes.
