Menu overview page
Here you have a visual overview of the menu of your website. The menu is the main part that visitors of your website use to get around and find everything your website has to offer.
Here you see an example of the menu of an example website.

On the menu over page you see:
A button to create a new menu item.
A button to enable order mode to be able to reorder menu items.
A list of the menu items, shown by name.
You can hover over the name to see the URL of the menu item.
An inset indicates that a certain menu item is a sub-item of another item. In the example, About us is a sub-item of Info.
The visibility of a certain menu item.
The type of menu item.
Buttons to view, edit, or delete the menu item.
The menu from the example website above, will look as following in the actual website:

Ordering menu items
When you enable ordering mode, you will get another view of the menu items of your website. An example is shown below:

As you can see, all menu items are still visible. Additionally, areas outlined with dashes indicate area's where items can be dropped.
Now you can use drag-and-drop to reorder the menu items to your liking. Hover over the menu item you would like to move, press down your mouse button and keep it pressed. Move your cursor to the place the selected menu item should be and let go of your mouse button. The menu items should now be reordered.
When you are done reordering your menu items, be sure to disable order mode in order to save.
Menu item types
There are different types of destinations you can link to a menu item. These types are explained below.
Empty menu item - a placeholder for when you want a sub-menu, but don't want the parent item to be clickable.
USM page - one of the pages created in the USM Admin Panel under Pages.
When linking a USM page to your menu item, you will be presented with a dropdown of all available USM pages.
Plugin page - a page defined by a plugin provided by your developer.
When linking a Plugin page to your menu item, you will be presented with a dropdown of all available Plugin pages.
Yii controller - a more advanced way of connecting a programmed page of your website. If this is needed, your developer will create the menu item.
Link - a direct link to another website.
You need to copy-paste the link of the website including https:// into the input field.
Create or update menu item
When you want to edit a menu item, you will see the following page:

On this page you have the following options:
Visible - whether you want the menu item to be shown in the menu or not.
Menu item title - the name your menu item should have in the menu bar.
If you have a multilingual website, you can enter a title for each language you support. The base language always has to be filled in, the others are optional.
URL alias - the way your menu item should translate into part of the URL of the browser.
If you don't know what to do with this, you can leave it empty. An alias will then be created from the title.
Destination type - what to link to the menu item. Read more about menu item types.
After selecting the destination type, another field may appear to further specify the destination.
Access level - which visitors should be able to see the menu item. Read more about access levels.
